Bowtech vs Pse

No, I don’t. I currently shoot a Prime. Have helped setup a newer Bowtech and it was easy to dial in. People seem to like the PSE NTN bows, FWIW.

Hard to go wrong with any of the new flagship bows, but dealer service trumps all in most instances.

Bows are no different than guns.. shoot as many as you can, pick the one that feels and works best for you.

Like some have already said, most high end manufacturers are very good. Shoot several and see which bow fits you best. You will find one that outshines all the others for you!

Two of my favorites, can't go wrong wither way. Go to the shop pick a couple of each and fling some arrows.

I typically decide by the way the grip sits in my hand, draw cycle to me is a non issue, after a month of shooting muscle memory takes over there.

I will start this with saying that I am biased as I shoot a BowTech and have since 2007.

That being said, I am going to recommend BowTech for the following reason. You can tune the bow yourself without the need for a bow-press. I don't have the space for a complete bow workstation at my house, so having a bow that I can do most of the work on saves me time and money (since I don't have to take it to a shop to fix things like cam lean), which I do figure in when coming up with the total cost of the bow.

I’m about to sell my Hoyt where I live has no good Hoyt tech. I’m thinking PSE or Bowtech?
What is your draw length?

FWIW - In 2019, I was looking to change bows from an Elite Ritual 33, and I tried Elite Ritual 35, Prime, Hoyt, Bowtech, and PSE.

I heard great things about Bowtech, but at my draw length the Bowtech's draw cycle was terrible in the last few inches. There was a huge hump/dump feeling.

I went with a 32" draw length, Evolve cam, on a PSE Carbon air Stealth 35 EC. Smooth draw cycle and great performance.

As others have said, go try as many as you can and see what feels and shoots best for you.

Do you like your Hoyt? If you do, invest the money towards a new bow into a bow press and a draw board and do your own bow work. It’s easy and you can easily do it in your garage or small room in your house. You can do your own work whenever you want and for as long as you want.
