Bow string Question

Right now I have a 57” string on my recurve setup, I ordered a gas bow string Friday thinking I had a 56” string. Will there be a difference in 1” less string? Should I try and call them Monday and get a 57”

1" is a fair amount. You may want to call and talk with them.
