I saw the crossroads bow stabilizer that switches to bino mono pod and I like the idea of it, but not everything about it.

If you haven’t seen it, this is what I’m talking about.

So I got to thinking what might make it better?

I like the quick disconnect commonly used on bow stabilizer. So let’s use one of those. I actually think it’s going to take 2, one for the bow and one for the binos.

I think I like the outdoorsman stud and adapter. So we will use those.

Now I don’t think I need a high end swivel head here as I’ll probably move the monopod more than use the swivel head. I just need something to hold the correct angle. I was thinking something like this.

I realize it’s not a tripod. I don’t want to buy and pack a tripod at this time. I’m looking to make glassing session longer and more comfortable.

What are your thoughts?
Would you change anything?
Do you think it’s a waist of time/money?
