I posted this in the k4 thread, but this is version 2.0. I designed it to use without the lid and snap into the lid straps. I added some sea to summit removable buckles to the top loops of the pack. These are for the webbing coming from the top of the reciever. The bow spider comes with bolts and washers meant to mount it permanently to a pack. I used those to attach the lower webbing clips. It takes about 2 seconds to take off and I like it a lot better than the Velcro straps it comes with.

That’s really neat. I was bought one as gift, it’s currently attached to my vortex glasspak, I’m not sure how I like it yet.

Can you post some more pictures of your the bow spider on the pack? Do you have to keep the pack in daypack mode to actively use it? I know on my packs I typically use the belt and mount it high on the frame stays and only there is it useful to draw. If I use the belt on the K4 it blocks the top of the zippers on all main pouches so I would need to make something like this.

I added a buckle and some webbing to the bottom of the pack. I have to secure this with the pack off, but can easily reach back and undo it with one hand when hiking. I added this because the bow will swing around when climbing over deadfall or ducking under branches. I also added a receiver to the hip pouch I keep my pistol in. It worked great to put my bow on when I wanted to hands to glass.
