I’m looking at buying a lightly used sight for my bow. I’m mainly looking for a 3 pin slider with 3 indicators. I found a spot hog fast Eddie with 3 pins and one indicator. I’ve heard I should be able to make it into a 3 indicator but can’t find anything from spot Hogg to know for sure. The other sight is an Hha tetra max ryz. What sight would be the best choice and the easiest to customize down the road?

why do you need 3 indicators? it's not like you can see them at full draw anyhow, so either you're dialing with 1 pin to take 1 specific shot, or you're going to be at your home base position and have your pins at their default positions.

I tend to agree- I just switched from a single pin slider to a 3 pin with two indicators. I kinda hate it and think there is too much room for confusion in the moment. One of the indicators is probably going away and the indicator going to middle pin with it centered in the sight. Honestly wish I had just stayed single pin, but I’m assuming I’ll get used to it and will be presented with a shot where it’s handy to have the right pin for a closer shot.

I actually think the best option is a vertical 2 pin. I use a vertical single pin slider but I think my next one will be a 2 pin vertical. More than likely a MBG.

I have a spot hogg boonie, 3 pin vertical. Zero is 20 and when zeroed, 2nd pin is 30 and 3rd is 40. As I continue to dial, it just happened to work out for me that the 2nd and 3rd pins are dead nuts out to 70yds. However, my 2 lower indicators are only perfectly aligned with the corresponding yardages when I'm zeroed at 20. They are close when I dial to 30 and on, but not perfect.

I have an ultra view with three pins and 3 indicators. Love it so far. For deer I keep it at 20.30.40, but for elk I can leave it at a little longer distances with the larger target.
