Carter Like Mike. My favorite release to this point. I use a Carter insatiable thumb as a backup and they both put arrows in the same spot. That said I have an old LokJaw 2000 that was great but gave it to my son.

I've been using the Rhino XT for years as well. Great release. I'm going to switch to a thumb release full time. I shoot both a thumb and a hinge in the offseason and haven't made the switch for hunting. I'm going to this year. With Scott D/C the Rhino I'll have to switch at some point anyway. Been shooting the Scott Exxus and that is D/C as well so I have a Stan Perfex on the way.

Carter 2 shot with a heavy spring in it. I've been considering picking up a Like Mike but need to actually see what my trigger pull is on my current ones to see if I can set up the Like Mike with a similar pull weight.

I'm able to adjust my Like Mike from 8 oz to 5#. I haven't tried lower than 8 oz. My RX2 with either the medium or heavy spring (can't remember which I installed) comes in at about 1#.

If I remember correctly one turn of the adjustment screw equals 4 oz on my Like Mike.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure the Like Mike could be set up similar for me. I was able to hang a 2.5 lb weight off my 2 shot trigger and not have it go off, but it does go off when I switched to a 5 lb weight.

I hunt with a Stan Black Ice DS, but if you want to go with a wrist strap index finger release, I recommend the TruBall The Beast II.
