Been looking for a daypack for tree/ground blind hunting with a bow in TX, any recommendations? Don't need to pack out game so something super large is not necessary, just want something quiet with enough space to carry my gear or the kids stuff when sitting in ground blind.

Looked at the Sitka APEX and the Badlands packs so far

The older style Sitka tool bucket is a nice tree stand pack when you have a few extras. It will
stand up so it can be easily accessed. Also can be hung open or closed from
a tree and It has plenty of straps for a bow. Biggest downside for me is the drink pouches
on side dont have a restrainer. I just made my own. The apex is similar but I dont
need the extra waist belt so I dont use it often.

The Sitka Ascent pack is pretty awesome for bow hunting here in KS. Plenty of pockets very well laid out and quiet

The Tenzing Hangtime pack has my attention right now.... looking at picking one up. Looks like a straightforward, well laid out pack, without a $400 price tag.

I have the Mystery Ranch pop-up 28 and it works great for a day pack with a frame for packing meat. Only wish I would have went with the pop-up 38 being its a little bigger, but overall happy with the 28!

Badlands superday is a very handy pack if you don't need to haul animals. Lots of organization and enough room. I picked one up here used for cheap and love it.
