Anyone tried any of the WY whiskeys?

Local shop is stocked with a few from each brand. Also has Blantons on the shelf… for $96 though. No idea what it goes for now but that is a lot more than I paid last time for it a few years back!

Pine bluff is in my grandparents neck of the woods. Less then any hr away from them. My grandpa is very good friends with the owner.

I got sober about 4 years ago and gave it all up, but made many trips to their store front and factory. The early stuff wasn’t very good, the rye was decent, but thier gin was really good.

I know they are growing like every micro brand these days.

Hard to believe I was drinking a bottle of weller a week and spent what I did on my collection. Luckily I found the light and gave it up, sold the collection. Still have very good connections in the bourbon world since I spent so much and drank so much.

These days won’t touch it but still flip my pappy allocations every novemeber for hunting money!

Long rant, but pine bluffs is good for a micro.

Lucked into some cheap Weller Full Proof and Antique recently. Never seen either before at $69 and $66, respectively. Got a couple of each.

The last bottle I had before quitting was seller full proof, I really liked it. I still have several nice bottles under my stairs but havnt touched a drop in over a year.
