Bourbon

I'm no enthusiast/connoisseur, usually drink makers or woodford reserve. My mom gave the wife and I a bottle of Russell's single barrel for our anniversary and we've really been enjoying it.

Russell is spelled with 2 "Ls".
Otherwise, my name would rhyme with a famous German dessert.
Streusel for you ignorant wretches

But Russell's Single Barrel is an excellent, readily available bottle. If you can find the 10 year, I suggest picking it up.

Picked up a store pick of Weller Antique back around Thanksgiving that I lucked into as well as an EH Taylor. I've been nursing those.
Got a handle of Weller Special reserve and Buffalo Trace coming, courtesy of my BiL's recent trip to Kentucky. Looking forward to having those.

My local had a barrel of the Eli Manning Knob Creek. KC is a favorite of mine and I was about out of my last single barrel. Definitely different than my previous bottle, but it was a fresh open. I bought 2.

I have never even seen any of these in the wild. Do u borrow your wife to the liquor store owner?

I travel a lot for work and for the past five years at least my favorite activity out on the road after my company duties are fulfilled is to cruise the little towns and stop and look around at the mom and pop shops for unicorns.
