WTB Borrow a defiance barrel?????

Does anybody have a defiance barrel, magnum bolt face, that is laying around that I can borrow? Maybe a barrel that was removed because it was shot out? I’m having an issue with a gun I can’t figure out and need to screw on a different barrel that’s a known shooter, to see if my issue is a barrel issue. I just need to put a handful of rounds down the barrel. It will be installed by a professional gunsmith, and removed by a professional gunsmith.

Nothing overly exciting. A custom build that’s shooting 1.1-1.2 moa groups. Pretty sure it’s the barrel but would like to proof it. I know a 1.1-1.2 is serviceable but I want this gun to shoot 1000 plus yards, out to a mile (steel) and 1.1-1.2 isn’t going to get it done.

That’s a bummer. Any good gunsmith would make this situation right.
Bad barrels do happen also.

Are you planning to have the same smith put said borrowed barrel on?
Most reputable barrel makers will let you send the rifle to them and address it if it’s a problem w barrel…. Hell most reputable smiths will address…I know for fact that proof will. What’s your smith saying?
