What kind internal thoughts are folks having about the upcoming release of a born primitive pack?
Do you have enough faith and confidence in Aron to produce something new/different that will compete?
Anyone seen any prototype pictures or any spec info?

Well it sounds like a co-managed design between two of the best active pack designers around. Doubtful it will be Berry compliment but could be.

They most certainly will bring a solid offering.

I'm interested in what innovations set it apart enough that they would patent them.

I hope they don’t disappoint.
With initial ascent now manufacturing overseas, kifaru well on their way, and stone becoming pretty stagnant. it seems exo is the only made in USA pack manufacturer that is still innovating, Though their pack selection could be broadened.
I’d like to see the OG kifaru wide selection of pack styles, sizes and colors brought back.
I’ll settle for a pack that functions well under load and isn’t made in Taiwan.

Personally I think the wide selection was their downfall. Post Patrick it seemed like they tried to come out with a new pack every month.

Where was it released that they are coming out with a pack?

That was probably the biggest reason I never bought a Kifaru pack. Multitudes of options for the frame and main bag, then adding pockets, pouches, and miscellaneous doodads...

I love the simplicity of Exo's offerings.

I'm sure whatever BP comes out with will be a cool, very functional pack but I doubt they gain much market share.

Also, who cares if it's Berry compliant? I would rather have the best product than know where the buckles were molded.
