Has anybody compared these two pants together? Fabric, Fit, Size and Functional?

Stone glacier pants were too loud for me. KUIU attack pants fit like skinny jeans…

I haven’t tried the born primitive pants but have a pair of 308’s and love them. Not too much going on but has the right venting and pockets. Seem very durable. Will see after this season. I would be curious to know more about the born primitive as well if people have compared.

Not to hijack the thread...can you elaborate a bit on the 308 pants? How's the weight, i.e., how warm are they? I'd be looking for something that's not too warm. Would love a comparison to the Prana Stretch Zion if you've used those.

Honestly, the only thing that I'm hung up on is the price. That price for a poly pant? I'm still using a 10-year-old set of generic Stoic softshell pants that cost like $50.

I really want hip vents, and I think the pocket layout of the 308 is perfect. Just can't get on board with that price quite yet!

I got the 308 pants to try I wear a. 36 in all there pants but these where much bigger and baggy in the legs they are a little on the warm side to me. Sent them back gonna see if the 34 is better. Been wanting to try the born primitive as well. Pnuma has a pair of pants called the prevail pant and are awesome light and comfortable and not baggy more of an athletic fit..

very similar pant to the zions. Slightly heavier with vents. Scouting this weekend in them and my buddy will be in his Zions. I can give a better review then.

I really like my 308 pants so far. I dont have a lot of First Lite stuff but I really like these. Tried them on in the store with no real intention to purchase, and I just couldn’t pass them up due to the great fit, material, pocket layout and vents. I would say similar weight, maybe slightly lighter than the sitka mountain pants. Slightly heavier than the prana zions, but the hip vents make them better in warmer weather IMO. They are very quiet…more quiet than zions, mountain pants, wranglers, etc. As close to fleece quiet as Ive seen for something that wont catch burrs too bad. Wore on a 4 day trip and they did not stretch out and get baggy like some pants. Seem durable but didnt experience anything too abrasive. Was very dry as well, so i cannot attest to their dry times.

Bp lites are very life, 308 is a much sturdier pants. I don’t have the 308’s but I’ve seen and felt them. The bp lites are very stretchy but seem to stretch out over a few days.

I had the same issue with the 308s. They seem to be one waist size larger than the tag reads

I have both, 308's are much warmer, and baggier. also rough feeling until broken in. The ORIGINAL frontier lights are a perfect pant, super light and breathable, but plenty of wind proof and warm enough for me, I move ALOT, knees and butt reinforcement are perfect. I've been wearing them 4-6 days a week since april basically. Warm enough, cool enough, fit ME perfect. HOWEVER, I ordered them again, and they changed the fit and cut, they are not the same. Still good, but not AS good. no remember, this is for my body shape and size.

I absolutely love the BP Frontier Light 2.0, but the same size in the BP Frontier 2.0 is too restrictive...

I have the 308’s and the Frontier Lights. I like the knee pads on the frontier lights for shooting competitions. For hunting though the Kuiu Kutana beats both.

wore the Kutana pants on all my hunts this year and although I like them, I have a couple of deal breakers. 1. the waist is way to stretchy. Like having to solely rely on a belt is annoying. 2. no sleeve for knee pads. 3. although i didn't get holes or tears the bottom half of the pants just look very hairy and no longer smooth. Obviously walking through thick stuff has scuffed them up. My sitka or Stone glacer pants did not experience this.
