Boots suddenly dont fit? Foot growth?

Could it be that your in between sizes? If I go with 9s, they are too small and eat my heels. If I go 9.5, my toes move around a little and I get blisters on my big toe. Way its always been across 4-5 different brands.

This happened to my buddy recently, first I've ever heard of it. Hope it doesn't happen to me lol

They might have actually stiffened up after getting wet and maybe that is what you are feeling?

Surgery on both my heals because of high arch and packing weight. Length never changed. It took 40 years though, now in my late 50s.
I'm not sure which would be worse. I'd almost have a surgery than give up my Kenetreks.

Depending on the Boots and how they are stored, they can shrink as well. I have a pair of Nick's loggers that are 15 years old, full leather. If I go for a few months without wearing them, I have to oil them, heat them, and wear them around the house for a bit to stretch the leather back out. I also had a pair of full leather Hanwags that I didn't oil after hunting season, they sat in my dry mechanical room all year, and seemed to shrink more than one full size. I never got them stretched back out. So in short, it could be your foot like said by others, but in my experience, it could also be the boot.

I am def in between sizes but the sz 9M boots fit me before, I did hours of yard work in them, and logged 25 miles in them before they started feeling small.

Sent the 9w back today to exchange for Beartooths because they said they fit the same as my sz9 Timberlines, but sizing up to 9.5
