Boots similar to Hanwag Alverstones

I’m about to give up hope of the Alverstones ever coming back. I’ve reached out to Hanwag multiple times to enquire as to when they might have stock again and their customer service takes a month+ to respond to emails to only tell me the same thing over and over which is they’re coming back but they don’t know when. Which is kind of wild to me…

I have haglunds on both heals so they’re extremely bony and I haven’t found another boot to fit me like Alverstones. I believe it’s due to the flexible/softer upper and ankle of the Alverstones. I’ve tried so many boots now I can’t even remember them all. The only thing that’s come close was salomon quest but I still have to tape with these pluse they’re junky as hell.

Anyways I’m curious if anyone has any recommendations or leads on a boot that fits or wears similar to Alverstones?

Following because I’m in a similar boat with haglunds and trying to find boots that fit well.

It’d be a shame if they don’t being the Alverstone 2s back. Fantastic boots. Very under appreciated.
