Just saw this thread. I have wide feet too. I typically wear New Balance EEEE shoes in 10.5.
The only and I mean ONLY boots that I've found to fit are Meindl for a light hiker and Lathrop for a real heavy duty hiking boot. If you're not a hunter carrying heavy weight the Lathrop is probably too much boot for you.
But, I work in Norfolk and could meet up if you're interested. Send me a PM if interested. It's very difficult for guys on the east coast to learn about boots, optics, and a lot of gear that western hunters use because the knowledge and stores just don't exist on the east coast.
