I have a pair of whites lochsa’s that have developed a squeak when fully laced up. I believe it’s coming from the folds of the tongue area. Not a major deal it’s just super annoying. Anybody have any ideas on what I could put there or use to stop that damn noise.image.jpg

What do whites recommend for treating the leather? Have you applied any to area that makes noise?

They have their own boot oil and leather preservative.
I just used kenetrek boot wax. I’ve had them 1 1/2-2 years. They started this on the way home from a caribou hunt in Alaska. They were wet for the whole week and have squeaked ever since.
I dried them out when I got back and put another coat of wax on them before I went to New Mexico last year, but after a day of wearing them down there I switched to a different pair.

I would get the wax off, then treat them with a leather conditioner. Once that is dry/soaked in then apply the wax.
