Obenaufs laces are the best Ive found. I swap them out immediately. They are waxed laces and sometimes its a little more wax than is necessary, but the excess will squeeze out pretty quickly.

Get them and you wont be disappointed.

OBENAUFS!

If you just search Obenaufs laces they will pop up. They are lightly coated in bees wax, hold extremely well so you dont have to double know them. Every pair of boots I get immediately get a pair of obenauf laces for them. I have a pair of boots I wore about 300 days a year for about 4 years. Still have the same pair of laces on them.

They were designed by hotshot firefighters.

Definitely gonna have to take a look at these

go shoot yourself a squirrel and skin him with the pants/jacket method. with the "tube" you get with the jacket you can cut yourself a set of laces. Should last a long while
