If you’re looking to prioritize size and weight when suppressing your 9mm there’s a couple great options out there now for small 9mm suppressors that are light enough to not need a booster; the Stealth Additive Works SHIV 9mm and the Front of Rifle Systems Pluto 9.

Are they as quiet as a full size pistol or PCC suppressor? Nope. They do offer a lot of suppression in a very small package, obscure your sights or dot less, fit into a lot of holsters, and don’t require a Nielsen Device (booster).

SHIV

WEIGHT: 2.5 OZ (NO HUB ADAPTOR)
DIAMETER: 1.3″ OD
LENGTH: 3.7″
MATERIAL: TITANIUM GR5 (ELI)

Pluto 9

Length: 4.5”
Diameter: 1.25”
Material: Grade 5 Ti
Weight: 2.5 oz without Mount

Just how small these things are becomes pretty apparent when sitting next to a traditional pistol suppressor. Spectre 9 in the center for comparison.

They’re definitely not for everyone but they are two great options when you’re looking for something small.

We currently have both options in stock ready for immediate Form 3 to your dealer!

I have a Shiv and got the chance to finally shoot it with some 147 grain Blazer ammo through an Sig Flux P365. It is UNREAL how quiet it is!!!! I absolutely couldn’t believe it- like measurably quieter (to my ear anyways) than my Octane 45. Maybe it was in my head but I was truly blown away by its performance.

It is definitely impressive for its size! I've never been very impressed with how 9mm sounds through a 45 can.
