Book recommendation

Fantastic Land by Mike Bockoven
The Attack by Kurt Schlichter
I’ve been enjoying the Tony Hillerman Leaphorn and Cree series which the Dark Winds series are based of of. Easy quick reads that are entertaining.

Slash Ranch Hounds - Dub Evans

Hatchet - Gary Paulson

Call of the Wild - Jack London

Any reloading manual or ballistics chart- I can read them for hours and make my own special wildcat ideas up that I'm too scared to try, lol

The Land of Feast and Famine by Helge Ingstad. Not sure if I'd call it fast paced but its a great read.

For lighter reads, Patrick E. McManaus books are good

The Old Man and the Boy by Robert Ruark is always a good read

I know a ton of people recommend this one. I decided to read it based on recommendations from this site. I kinda hated it! I ended up quitting it about 2/3 of the way through (I think the only book I've ever quit reading). Not sure why, but i just didn't enjoy it. I'm not cracking on the book or the recommendation, it just wasn't for me.

Newest book series:
Dungeon Crawler Carl

Trust me. Enders game meets ready player one meets hunger games meets the Truman show

If you're after something easy to read yet keeps your mind emgaged, start with a book called "plum Island" by Nelson demille.
It's a cop thriller set on long island i believe, lead character was wounded on the job, catches a case while recuperating, hes a sarcastic pain in the ass (for his bosses and crooks alike)
It's the first of a series of books based on "John Corey" former NYPD detective.

Terminal List by Jack Carr. Great series, and very fast paced! Plus he incorporates hunting and outdoor gear in all his books.

Peter Hathaway Capstick, pretty much anything, but “Death In” are good ones.
You have to like the old ways and technical aspects of guns and hunting.
