Book recommendation

Elmore Leonard has a collection of short stories for a quick easy read. Pronto, riding the rap, and raylan are great novels that the show Justified was based on. Very entertaining easy reads

Gee never read a navy seal book before lol. How many of these guys have come out with books in the last 10-15 years???
This book was not written by him because he gave the ultimate sacrifice. And id bet he never would have written one because of his humbleness

Some good ones already mentioned but if you like suspense, action thrillers,

Brad Thor
Daniel Silva
Ward Larsen
Mark Greaney
Brad Meltzer

All very good authors with some great books.

Maneaters of Kumaon

It's about several different notorious man-eating tigers and leopards that Jim Corbett hunted down in northern India. He was a fantastic hunter, writer, and conservationist.

The Old Man and the Boy by Robert Ruark is always a good read
I think this may be the best recommendation for socked in weather living in a tent. Each chapter is it's own story. Easy to put down and pick up later. Not a lot of characters to remember, only two in fact.

After reading a couple of non-fiction Navy seal books it reduced the time I wasted watching The Lioness series to about 30 minutes.

I read a book called “the tiger” which is the true story of a task force in Siberia that is trying to track down a tiger that has killed several people. Pretty wild story.

I got a belly laugh from your comment...good one.

Probably becuase I read them all...and there are many. I will toss my $$$ their way any day and twice on Sundays. If there was any group that deserves cashing in on their careers, it's them.

Are any of them different??? they all seem pretty formulaic, talk about being kids, then how hard BUDS is then war stories. Toss in a few pictures with their buddies, then a dedication to their friends at the end.

Im mostly joking and I've also read a bunch of them but they really all seem fairly similar.

Im telling you, this one is different. You're going to be shocked

Anything by Hemmingway since most of his books are one really long sentence :p

Seriously, whatever you pick to read download to your phone and save the weight and space books take up. A battery pack will still save weight over a few books and reduce space needed, plus you don’t need light to read.

My favorite easy reads below. The first two are packed with great, funny lines.

Myron Bolitar series by Harlan Coben
Prey series by John Sanford
Jack Reacher series by Lee Child
Mitch Rapp series by Vince Flynn
