Bolt fluting questions

Im wanting to send out two bolts for fluting but Im stuck trying to pick a style. One bolt is off a stainless T3X and one bolt is off a Rem 700 non stainless. For the T3X Im leaning towards a wrought iron pattern and leaving it all stainless.
For some reason Kampfield doesn’t have any photos on his site of his wrought iron pattern on a bolt. Has anyone else had a wrought iron pattern from Karl?

For the Rem bolt I like the TI style that Kampfield offers with the wide flutes. Can I leave the flutes as bare metal or do I need paint them also to prevent rusting? The rifle that bolt goes to is a 223 trainer that mainly only gets used for targets so it will never be used in rainy situations.

Last question, has anyone experienced excessive bolt chatter when cycling a bolt with these fluting patterns?

Bare metal non stainless will be prone to rusting. So it would need a coating to prevent. Raw carbon steel will form a rust layer quickly even if it doesn't see rain
Fluting is just for looks, so why flute it and let it rust?

I haven't personally. As long as they leave the major bolt diameter alone, it shouldn't have more "chatter"

You didn't ask, but honestly NOT fluting your perfectly fine bolts is the simple solution in both cases :)

I know but anymore a standard round bolt looks off to me. Something about a fluted bolt just looks better. Kind of like lifting a truck, totally not required but it just looks better.
