Bolt fluting and handle threading

Who do you all recommend to flute a Howa mini bolt and thread the handle?
I’ve used Sam at The Polished Knob, but he told me the other day he is closing down. So now I’m looking for someone else to do my bolts.

Bummer, I was going to recommend him. He did my Howa Mini bolt. I guess I missed the boat - I have another Tikka bolt I was going to send him.

I’ve had Twisted barrel flute a Tikka bolt for me a number of years ago. Oregon Mountain Rifles might be fluting minis now - when I had reached out to them before, they stated they were looking into it.

That’s too bad. He did great work and his prices really couldn’t be beat. Was nice having him somewhat local as well.

Guess I’ll be looking for someone else now too!

Twisted Barrel does good work with reasonable pricing. LRI and Kampfield Customs would some others to look at.

Kampfield does much nicer work than LRI.
that said I would recommend against it all together. I've had a bunch of fluted bolts now and none of them run as smooth as they did before fluting. It looks nice but saves almost zero weight and is a down grade in functionality.
