What I figured out is full to us is paradise to someone from Ca, Portland or Seattle.So is Idaho, but that doesn’t seem to affect them.

Im in the same boat in SLC. Would love some more space but can’t afford since covid.It’s everywhere across Idaho. Prices are skyrocketing, people that have been here forever are getting horribly squeezed by prices and property taxes. I’d love to upgrade homes but can’t even come close to affording to

Just trying to get across town in the middle of the day let’s you know half the valley doesn’t work!California money.
Lots in my area are millionaires or close too. They are Retired and they are my age. Play every day
I work a good job half the year in Alaska now going on for 30 years and I can barely afford the treasure valley

It just seems to be a race to the bottom by appealing to the lowest common denominators of people. I’m almost excited the state seems to have finally screwed up its budgets enough that they might have to actually do something about it.
