I've been using a 20 practical this year. Shooting 40 vmaxs at 3775. I really like it for coyotes. Haven't found a cat yet but have no doubts it would kill. As far as fur I've shot a few foxes with rarely an exit on solid hits. If you get close to the edge it will blow a big hole but any bullet will. It's not a magic round basically a 204 but let's you use cheap 223 brass. Also it's one pass through a die. No fireforming or extra steps.

The guy that makes cam trip cages has probably shot more bobcats than anyone I know.

If you want to pick his brain just google cam trip cages.

Some people don't like them but this has been my experience with 53gr VMAX right behind the crease. I have shot 6, all with the same result. No exit.
What are you shooting them out of? I have better results with the 53 Vmax than the 50 Vmax or 52 ELD fur wise.

I would have expected it to perform the same but it definitely is better on fur.

Out of 22-250’s and 22 Creeds.
