BOB bike trailer mods

I have a BOB set up for my 27.5" hardtail (pic attached). It is the rigid one, i.e. no suspension. I ride it on both roads and single track.

I'm wondering if people have modified BOB trailers to haul certain equipment more securely. For example, I have blurry visions of a custom lightweight framework (bent sections of rod? Steel cable? Wood?) that, using bungees or springs or something, could have my bow or rifle affixed to it. It would be suspended somehow so that even on relatively fast descents, my weapon would be both secure and free from rigid vibration (which obviously always makes me worry I'm messing up my sight, rest, scope, etc).

Anybody ever work on something like that?

I've seen trail crews run chainsaws/shovels/pulaskis on custom BOB rigs like you're describing. Perhaps digging through some trail building/mtb websites?
