Not a fan of the Atlas. The Extreme pod locks up solid and has very little play compared to the Atlas.
How about ease of deploying and adjusting from prone position? I found the Atlas to be a pain in the ass.....the slop I didn't mind.

I would like to have seen this overall weight come in lighter than it did. According to the specs, the Extreme pod actually weighs more than a clamp mount Atlas V8.
Also, the footprint of the Atlas is more streamlined up against the stock. With the Atlas legs collapsed rearward, it makes a rifle fairly simple to slide in/out of a scabbard style pack. The locking lever of the Extreme pod faces forward & hangs down below the bipod legs quite a bit, would likely require some extra care to wrangle the rifle down into scabbard. Might be easier to pack it separately & install before the shot?

Any one with first hand experience using this bipod yet? I'm interested but want to know if it can be loaded like a harris.

I am going to buy the EOL bipod for my new build. I have an Atlas on my current rig which will stay with it. Anyone find or know if any issues wwith the EOL Bipod other that lock handle catches on pack. I am going to take the bipod on and off if it starts to hang up on items.

Does Bob have a discount code for us roksliders?

Looking for more info on this. Anyone hunt with this last fall?

Ryan used it last year. I have his now for the bipod comparison review I'm working on. I'm comparing the Extreme, Atlas, Evolution, Javelin, Harris, and Blackhawk bipods.

With that lineup, it will cover high end to low end bipods, and should answer a lot of questions about how one works vs the others.
