It's one of those things you have to try before any real judgement can be made. It has promise that's for sure. It also however looks pretty bulky, like you would have to take it off to put it in a pack.

how would these need any less preloading than a harris? i didn't quite follow that. always like seeing new products though.

I like the looks of it. I've been looking hard at the javelin bipod but I like the looks of this better. Might have to try it out.

I use the Atlas bipod, but like the way this new one locks into position. Much easier to keep everything aligned.

I do have one. Only had it about a week. Initial impression, It's really light and very well thought out. Give me a few weeks of bear hunting to beat on it and I will do a full review.

Not a fan of the Atlas. The Extreme pod locks up solid and has very little play compared to the Atlas.
