I’m a miserable old man so I just go with old school Lee carpenter jeans. They cost about $25 and they last quite well to abuse.

No Stretchy tight jeans for this dude.

How can I get in on this deal?? Lol really enjoy their chuck jeans. I can’t afford all my jeans to be Kimes. I wear wranglers everyday for work. I like R&R Cowboys a lot too. Well thought out, comfortable jeans.

My wife is a professional barrel racer and trainer. They give us free gear every year.

little pricey but I can’t say good enough things about 5.11 pants, stretch, breathe, durable, great stuff.

I don't wear blue jeans anymore after trying the prana zion and the wrangler performance stretch pants. They are just so much more comfortable and functional.

Since your in cowboy country, go with the ones with sparkles and designs on the back pockets. If they come pre worn, skin tight and have fleur de lis all the better! They only cost $150 at Murdochs ranch supply. 😉
Wranglers, Carharts and Dickies hold up well.

my favorite jeans are some wranglers, but not the classic cowboy jeans. I forget the model # but they are more of a lightweight denim, straight leg boot cut... I will try to find the model.

I rarely wear jeans anymore, all of the hiking type pants around these days are so much more comfortable. regardless of them being really thick, there is something about a fresh washed pair of Carhart's too, but those wranglers are more comfortable.

i like thinner jeans that break in fast

I buy all my jeans from Goodwill. I usually don't pay more than $7.99 or so for a pair. I think my favorite brand that I have worn is probably Joe's or Fidelity. My wife bought me a pair of both and they are expensive to buy new but they are alot more comfortable than Levi's or Wranglers.

All I wear is jeans.

This discussion is pretty much worthless without an explanation of your body style; For example, some of these jeans like original Wranglers are cut for a young Beendare body...not the body I have now- grin

I've been ordering LL Bean and Eddie Bauer [wait for a sale] as they have different body style options.

I wear a 38” inseam with a 34” waist. I found pants by Foundry to be really comfortable. If you look around you can get them for $25 a pair. I wear jeans every single day and a pair will last me well over a year.

I recently used Amazon Prime Wardrobe to try 5 different 'relaxed' style pairs from Lee, Levi's, and Wrangler. The Wrangler Flex (99% Cotton, 1% Spandex ) was my favorite.

Like someone else mentioned, body type is important. I'm 5'7 175lbs pretty solid with squatting thighs. Hard as heck to find good jeans that fit.

This is a good thread. I shop only when I have to which is stupid as I just get mad as companies change their fit constantly.
The latest is Carhartt. I forgot the series but they made a change to the canvas pants with the cell phone pocket...I won’t get started. I try to use the bulk of my clothes for multiple situations. With that said I am trying Mountain Khaki, when I find them on sale. I am still on the fence.
Keep up the suggestions
