Anyone have a secret remedy to remove a blood stain? Loaned a pack to a friend and he threw the pack into the truck as I did with the last load out. I was able to get it out of the waist belt with just a spray bottle of water. I put the bag in my front loader and after air drying in still has stains?

Oxyclean always works well for me since my wife uses it on the kids clothes and always has some on hand. I'll give peroxide a try next time though.

Far more expensive than peroxide (a great idea BTW), but I've successfully used the enzyme tablets made for cleaning protein deposits off of contact lenses.

Put several in a cup, add as little water a possible (estimate enough to dampen the area that is stained) water, let them dissolve, apply to item with a small rag or sponge. Let item sit and stay damp w/o drying for an hour or more, then wash.

Go to your local home brew supply and buy a product called PBW (powdered brewery wash). It's like oxyclean on steroids.

Edit: maybe try it on a piece of fabric you don't care about first. Stuff is powerful.
