Warm and 100% humidity today. Clothes were sopping wet today cutting trees. Still have at least one full day of tree work.

20 degrees right now 24" of snow since yesterday morning, winds 30-60 mph, drifts 2-4 feet deep, more snow and wind forecast through tomorrow. We can't get out of the driveway, and the county can't plow the main road anyway. All major roads in the state are closed, including I94, which means the minor roads probably are too.

We're getting all the precip the SoDak guys are wishing for. Things were looking dry here too, but this should help.

Screaming wind and drifting snow all day yesterday and today. Interstate and highways all closed. Helped dig two vehicles out of a drift just down the street. The county sent a snowplow to clear out the drift and he got stuck in it and had to get towed out. He’s been working on clearing it for an hour and still isn’t quite done.

Truck said 100 driving home from work today. I hate hot weather and it's April. August will suck.

My brother is a college teacher in south central Kansas. He was planning on taking his students on a turkey hunt to southeast MT this week. But they decided to push it a week.

One cam made it back up. Some winters/early spring the snow stays at the second floor window. We need the snow just hope this late dump doesn't hurt too many deer, elk, etc.

Ha, ha, I figure my first mow will probably be mid to late June, but that's pretty typical here.
Man, I hope it isn't that early, I HATE the fact I need to mow lawn! What a ridiculous waste of time.

My parents only got about 12 inches south of Bismarck but it's howling there. They sent a few pictures. It looks nicer there now than when I was there in July and it was 100+ degrees every day and everything was cooked!

Lots of snow and 50mph winds for two days with wind a third day. Not sure on the snowfall totals, but dang we have some drifts! I need to go dig the truck iut of the garage now that the wind has died down to 15-20 mph.

How far south? They’re calling S Bismarck 17.5” officially this morning.

Growing up my father had a number of patients from the Jordan area. They called these wet spring storms - death storms. The antelope and sheep tended to gather in the ravines to escape the wind, would be buried and died.

This is probably what was the influence for Charlie Russel's post card of the starving cow - labled last of 5,000. Winter of 1886 - 1887.
