Blinds at Fence Crossings

Can anyone elaborate how they're hunting fence crossings with blinds? I took an antelope last year from a blind over water but I'm trying to keep my options open for fence crossings since there's so much water in the unit. When they were drinking they were extremely hesitant of the blind even though it had been there a week prior and it was in front of a small hill to break up the silhouette.

I see some people throwing some brush around their blinds, but this unit is very flat with no brush. Will they continue to use a crossing if you throw a box blind up 20 yards from it, or will they find alternatives indefinitely?

Antelope can be blind wary. After years of hunting them with stickbows, we have pretty much gone to pit blinds with upper body brushed in. Also decoy setups have worked great.

Antelope can run underneath any fence. Nearly at full speed. I wouldn’t be placing any bets on a fence crossing.

You’re better off working the lay of the land for funnels and bottlenecks making natural travel corridors

Pronghorn will and do use the same crossings for years. In some areas you may find sheep wire or just a 5th barbed wired way down low. Antelope will find a low spot to go under and they use it over and over.
A simple blind would be best at a crossing I think or they will find another spot to go under.
