A little peek at my library. Got to meet Boyd Iverson at a sportsman's show I believe in Seattle back in the day, seemed like a smart and humble guy who liked to share information and hear about others success stories, love his books. Blacktails magazine only produced maybe 2 issues, still have #1 from fall 1990, price $2.95. Like Scott Haugen's book very much, sounds like Blacktail are his favorite deer too.

That magazine with the calling and rattling tactics would be interesting. All of Boyd’s books are full of info, anyone interested in BT hunting should read them.
