BlackOvis Merino Sale On Camofire!

While we are at it, can we unmerge BOS and Cabelas and get all of Cabelas brands back?

Now there is just twice as many stores and websites to buy the same BPS branded crap.

If Scheels or Sportmans Warehouse ever get roped into that, and old Johnny tried with Sportsman’s I think, it’s going to be bad.
If you unmerge BPS and Cabela's, then there's no Cabela's. They were going to go declare bankruptcy and close when BPS bought them. BPS already tried to buy Sportsman's Warehouse within the last couple of years and Sportsman's Warehouse confirmed the deal was in process. The FTC wouldn't approve the acquisition, saying it was going to be a monopoly in the industry, and the deal fell through. So based on the fact that they were already ready to sell to BPS, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Sportsman's Warehouse ends up going bankrupt and shutting down within the next few years. The two close to me pretty much suck ass in all areas and surely the only reason that they're still open is that they're closer to the NKY area than any of the Bass Pro stores. It's a shame because the one in Lexington KY seemed to be pretty good whenever I stopped in when I was passing through, so I was excited when it came to Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky.

After the BPS/Cabelas buyout/takeover/salvage the only decent sporting goods store left is Scheels. I am REALLY hoping that NW Arkansas finally gets one!

I was in one in North Dakota a several years back. I walked into the firearms depart and it was like the parting of clouds in heaven and the light shining down. LOL.

They get me for several hundred bucks every time I go through Dallas, Kansas City, or Wichita. Between reloading gear and their clearance racks... On second thought, I might not be able to afford for them to open a location in my part of the world.
