Yep, they've done that before. Check if the item is already on sale. If not, give them a call or email them, and they'll still honor the discount.

Makes for doing combined orders this time of year a bit screwy, but it's just how it is.

My experience is also that their customer service via email can be pretty hit and miss - I've had a couple of orders that they were partly through processing just disappear into the void at their end. So phoning might be more reliable.
