27 gallon totes for $7.98 before tax. Black with yellow lid. Good for stacking. I use them for hunting clothes and add a desiccant to keep things dry.

I think Costco might have these also.

I’ve been using these for about 10 years. More expensive, but they’re on sale at target cheaper than I bought them 10 years ago, after being as high as 40.00 each.

Their perfect size can’t overload them. Make good camp chairs, work tables, etc.

They have a gasket so they’re pretty air/water tight.

I gave up on the yellow lid ones for non climate controlled storage.

+1 for these. I used a some for gear/meat on a Kodiak trip, and the worker at the check-in counter in Kodiak commented on how much more robust they were than the majority of the totes they see - and they no doubt see a ton in the fall!

Just a random sidebar on these totes. They are very useful but are unfortunately all not created equal. I went around and looked at every single one from the major suppliers to see which ones were made the strongest for my project (don’t have a Costco near me so likely one of the only ones I didn’t test). The ones from Home Depot are significantly stronger than the others (thicker material, more structural ribs, etc) I made this storage rack and literally have probably 100lbs+ of bulk ammo in some of them and they hold up just fine hanging from the lips in my rack. The Lowe’s ones literally buckle in half under the same weight. Sucks they are all slightly different sizes too, so lids don’t match, can’t stack competitors together etc.
