Glad I could help!

You scored on the prime! I wish I could get a prime standard but with WiFi. The shop vac clean out and 12v options are nice but I don’t need the windows on the prime WiFi. Think the choice is the best bang for your buck.

I did shop around the local dealers and got them to throw in a free cover and a couple bags of pellets.
Nice, that's a good deal too. Had 3 guys load it in already assembled but didn't realize after wrestling with it by myself to get it out that it was 194 lbs haha. I was trying to put a like on your post too and I guess you can't like posts in the gear deal section. Anyway, got my Christmas present for myself.

Thanks again and happy grilling

Where are you guys getting these! I have talked to a couple smaller dealers around me and they pretty much laughed at me , even after I said to look at gmg website So I reached gmg , the lady I spoke with had no answers and really couldn't have been less helpful "Well I don't really know, Those are just suggested prices we can't make our dealers honor it"

Well I have talked with someone at GMG a few times regarding the grills and they were helpful. I do think their reps are regional as I had to leave a voicemail and get called back.

Regarding the sale they did say that it was by choice and the dealers do not have to honor it. The dealers have said they make little to no margin during these sales.

I am still trying to decide because cabelas has a Black Friday deal on their pellet grills coming up.

Has anyone here with a non WiFi GMG grill been able to convert it to WiFi just by adding an antenna?
I found some threads on Reddit regarding this and would really like to pick up a prime non WiFi and just convert it.

I have one of the original GM Daniel Boone's with remote for controling temp- It needs a little TLC but works fine, If anyone wants to drive to Northern WI they can have it for $50.

I ended up finding a place a half hour away that would honor the price , so I pulled the trigger on the Daniel Boone choice stainless with wifi Regularly $650-700 On sale for $399 So $422 OTD Can't wait to try it out

Which model did you buy?
I bought a Big Bite #8. A guy I know works in a sporting goods store. We talked the differences. If memory serves, the #8 was the minimum one you could get that was stainless steel parts with a stainless frame. The ones below it had plastic parts inside. Even if the outside was stainless.

Yes I have bought a Jim Bowie and converted it too WiFi. They use the same motherboards for WiFi and non WiFi. Was really easy to convert and cost $10.
