Dang! If you remember I would be curious to know how you like that jacket once you have some experience with it...looked at the Kryptek website but missed the free shipping part, first lite got the best of me and I did end up paying their shipping rate...I actually did realize that's including tax and duty though so not too unreasonable I guess, just a bit confusing the way they broke down the price.

If I didn't already pull the trigger on the uncompahgre I probably would give that a try, definitely interested in a comparison between the two though when you get it though. Have heard such mixed reviews on the uncompahgre I figured the only way to find out is to try it for myself right?

Killing me. The kestrel is a sportsman 5700. According to their website, if you connect it to the app it will update the firmware to a standard 5700. I grabbed one.
