Doing some testing between the axis 260 and the rampage 250. Wondering if anyone has any experience with the BE SS half out. Being stainless it does look to be better quality but I've never tried a half out because they're usually a cheap aluminum and light. They fit flush unlike outserts, so that's a plus.

Can anyone attest to durability issues with the SS half outs?

I have ran them for 2 years and have not had any issues. Took out a couple rocks and inserts and arrows were still good. I am running them on the 250's also.

Have you ever messed with their screw in weights

Do those footers cap the end of the shaft? Do they just fit like a sleeve over the last inch or two?

The footers are flanged and about 1" long. The flange and the head hold them in place, although i expoxy mine on as well. i used to swege and build footers but these with the flange are way nicer then anything i can build.

I've used 300 spine BE rampages for over a year, never had an issue with the halfouts.

Not just limited to black eagle but to outsert in general I had no luck keeping them spinning straight with heavy use.

I’ve used them the last couple years with good results. They will bend if you smack something hard but that’s no worse than blowing up the end of your arrow when you smack something hard. In my experience it doesn’t matter what insert or outsert you shoot if you hit things you aren’t supposed to it destroys arrows.
