Well, I just had to pass along a great experience I have had with Black Diamond.
I picked up a Storm headlamp from a local store this last summer. The headlamp worked great other than going through batteries very quickly. I thought there must be something wrong with the unit for how fast it was going through batteries. So finally having some time this winter, I put a new set in the headlamp, put it in lock mode, and let it sit for a week. To my surprise, the batteries were dead.
Having this issue, I tried to take the headlamp back to store I bought it from, but with no reciept, I was SOL. So I then send a quick email to BD. The same day I received an email back from them apologizing for the unit and gave me a tracking number of a new unit they had already put in the mail for me. Can't beat customer service like that!
