Looking for different ideas for a 450lb black bear mount. I was caped out for a rug, but does anyone have any pics of the pack mounts with the head and then the hide rolled up?

If you got a 450 lb bear. Go with a full mount or rug. Pack mounts don't do the bear justice. I'm not a fan of them but do them. This guy wanted his half rolled up half not. But also this was a 225 lb bear. So I had to spread the skin out to fill the backpack. This is just hanging on a mounting stand for the photo not the wall. The pack frame is from McKenzie.PXL_20251004_150905890.PORTRAIT.ORIGINAL~2.jpg

I got mine all set up for a pack mount. I showed it to my wife and she said absolutely not! Called back and changed to a rug.

Just curious what the approximate cost in the pact mount? I see your point on the packs. Im still leaning towards the rug, but am also interested in different ideas. I already have the 3/4 wall mounts and a rug.

I decided to build my own Trapper Nelson replica pack for a bear mount. The bear was about 300lbs, still waiting on taxidermy, but the pack is ready and I think I'll enjoy this more than the rug, which to me is largely impractical. My rolled up bear can always be unrolled for fun/display too.
