Bipod vs Tripod

For backpack hunts, bipod or tripod or both? What if you had to pick one? If it's a tripod, I'd need to be able to shoot off it too.

What bipod/tripod would you guys recommend? Tricer looks like a great option from online reviews.

i prefer tripod so it can be used for glassing and gun rest.

If I could only bring one, hands down a tripod. I spent over a week glassing versus only a couple minutes on the bipod.. I would have had a horrible time without the tripod. My pack could easily have been my bipod.

I used a spartan bipod which is <8oz. That's basically nothing (you can poop far more weight). If you have both, there is no reason not to bring both. I have an Aziak Front Country tripod which can be shot from as well.
