Binocular question for archery hunting

Hoping to get some clarity here. I have a pair of Vortex Fury LRF binos that I used on a tripod during my rifle hunt in CO this year. My question is, is it worth purchasing the sig kilo 6 HDX Pro image stabilizing binoculars and having to carry 2 items with that and my sig rangefinder? Also 14x50 vs 16x50? I am worried 14x is big but plan to spot and stalk open country as that style appeals to me most.

Wondering if the image clarity and light transmission is worth not just having binoculars I can range with. Part of me thinks it’s better to have 2 dedicated items that are a bit higher quality (glass brightness was noticeably worse on the fury binos than my buddies 12x50 vortex’s anyway and felt like I couldn’t glass as early with them. Thanks.

You can get the image stabilized but in my testing and use, it does not come close to a good bino on tripod for wide open country. It’s the early morning and late nights that make the difference.

I don’t think the glass is good enough for the west, but the IS is pretty cool.

Seems like Swaros are the go to glass for non-is, is that what you’d recommend? Also, what power do you use and with or without spotter? Appreciate the response

I am in AZ, and the go to has been the Swaro 15 SLC and 12 EL for binos. Now, of course the 12 and 14 NL Pure are the cats meow. The Leica Ultravid HD are comparable quality. I ran the 12x for a couple years. A buddy has the rangefinding 15c and he likes it.

I will get the 14 x NL as soon as I can. I just upgraded my rangefinding bino to Leica.

We spend all day behind glass, so we don’t like to compromise. We can use the 15x for more than a mile, so I don’t use a spotter a lot, but others do.

The new 66 Kowa or the 773/4 Flourite Kowa would be my choice. The Flourite is a crystal, lighter and less distorted than glass. Needs less color correction and coatings.

The alternative is a Swaro that size are the go to for field judging. To really see, I think you need the glass quality.
