Anyone have a bino case they really like?? Vortex cases are not user friendly at all. Has a zipper which sucks. Noisy... stiff to use.

You're going to get the old Chevy, Ford, Dodge argument on this one, LOL! I run an old KUIU harness and have had no issues with it. Initially I didn't like that there was no elastic in the straps, but came around to liking it better. I like how secure they are to my chest. No bouncing around, even when running. I also tend to lean towards simplicity. I don't want/need a lot of pockets on my harness.

I have the old style KUIU harness as well. Most important feature for me is front opening that makes replacing the binoculars much easier one handed.

I had a badlands years ago that protected them well but it was awful bulky and the magnetic closure was loud if you weren’t careful closing it. I’ve been using a mystery ranch for the last few years that I like, it was reasonably priced, light, comfortable and does a good job protecting. I was able to zip the leupold rangefinder case to the side and haven’t had a reason to change anything.

I’ve had a vortex, kuiu, and Fhf harness in the past. I recently just got a Marsupial harness and I’ll never go into the field with any other brand. Marsupial also has so many different attachments from bow hooks to bear spray holders… I 10/10 recommend the Marsupial. And.. it’s made in the USA!

I have the marsupial and love it. Grant I haven’t extensively tried any others but between my family we have vortex, marsupial, and badlands. I’ve mess around with the others and ended up trying the marsupial last year. For me liked it better but it’s a preference thing, the way the flap folded, how snug it felt to my chest and how quite it was.

I've had AGC, Stone Glacier and most recently Marsupial Gear. SG is probably the lightest and most simplistic but I really like the Marsupial Gear harness and prefer it over the other two mentioned.

I purchased the Marsupial Gear enclosed version this past year and I really like it so far.

Enclosed? Semi-enclosed? Lightweight open style? Using it for more storage space than just binos? Range finder?

I run an AGC. I really happy with the amount of stuff it can carry. I keep binos in there obviously but also have my tripod mount, small cleaning kit, knife, licenses, a few extra rounds, camp fork, lighter, and a head net. It definitely isnt a light set up but it works. I've been thinking about switching to something else but I dont want to sacrifice the storage.

I had an AGC and just recently went to an fhf harness. I definitely like the lightweight harness but do miss some of the storage.

Any of the above have room for a small range finder? Does the Marsupial have room for a range finder ?

So the marsupial has a side pouch for range finder. That’s how I roll with it. You might be able to get it in the front or side mesh pouch. Never tried to stick in the main pocket

I just picked up the AGC Ravus. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet but I’ve been messing with it and it’s pretty awesome so far. It’s modular so you can add accessories to it easily.

You're right the Vortex one sucks. I used a Kuiu and have since switched to a Marsupial and it's definitely my favorite for function. Very comfortable too. For now my rangefinder's belt clip slides nicely onto the loops on the side of the pouch and I have a small spiral elastic tether on it. Works just fine, but will probably get a designated pouch from them at some point because it does leave it exposed in bad weather.
