Binocuar advice

Need some help deciding between these 10x42's

In one corner the latest Zeiss Victory HT

And in the other the latest Swaro SLC's

Obviously both are incredible glass but does the Zeiss justify the extra cost of $300 ?

If anyone has owned both or sat behind them for a while please chime in.

I have spent some time behind the SLC's (15x56) and couldn't imagine something better. No doubt Zeiss is very good- I have spent a fair amount on Zeiss scopes. But my eyes certainly would not be able to tell a difference if indeed the Zeiss is better than the SLC's...

You sparked a good thought. Would my aging eyes even be able to notice the difference between these two ?

Comparing my 10x SLC's to my Nikon EDG 8x side by side [which is tough due to power difference]

The edg's have a tiny edge but its hard to quantify.....
