Hi,
I am looking to add a pair of binoculars to my gear locker. For 8 years I have been primarily using a pair of Vortex Viper 10*42, they have been decent. I have had to send them in to Vortex once for a repair. I have wanted a 8* for a while now, as I primarily hunt in quite tight bush. They are also more practical for saddle hunting. I have the option to get the Leupold BX-2 or BX-4 Pro Guide 8*42. I have held the BX-2 but there is no place close by to get my hands on the Pro Guides. The cost increase is not insignificant. For those of you that have one or the other, or have used both what would you suggest? I know the BX-2 would do the job, would the BX-4 be a noticable upgrade?
Thanks for any help.
