Bino Harness w/ Pistol

Interested as well as what other guys are doing.

I keep my sub compact .40 in the back pocket of my small marsupial harness and it fits well

Another vote for the HPG Runner bag. Mine will fit a Glock 19, and then you can attach a bino case and rangefinder pouch to the molle webbing on the front panel

I have been looking for something for a while for this…

Because I only like forward opening bino pouches, it is a limited market. My next (and probably last) attempt will be the Marsupial gear system. If that doesn’t work, I’m just going to a pack mounted holster.

I use a Razco and a AGC bino pack. This is the first year I used it in the field. I'm pretty happy with it. I noticed the weight (I carry a Ruger SP101 in .357 Mag) a bit but overall it has been a good setup. Easy access and carries well. I am going to add some gorilla or leukotape to the back of the unit because it sometimes hits the buckle on the waist strap of my pack and makes a little noise. I just folded the tail of the pack belt over the buckle this last trip and it was quiet that way. Is it perfect? Nope. Does it work well? Yes. What I'd love to buy or make is a bino pack that has a spot on the back to either attach the kydex holster or a slot to slide the side arm into. Seems like we're all working on systems that add a holster on or wear one under the bino pack. Kind of surprised one of the manufactures hasn't come up with a pocket or something on the back that accepts a kydex holster.

Marsupial w/ Razco + G29 10mm, and I really like the setup. Only gets in the way slightly if you're squatted down but still standing upon your feet, because then that equipment hangs enough it reaches your junk. But other than that, really like the setup and knowing that it's strapped on me even if I step away from my pack.

My concern was being able to have a weapon on me at all times and easily accessible for when you've got a critter on the ground at night and are cutting and then other critters come around and wanna get "curious".

Can you post a pic? Is this a razco on the vino harness or separate with the razco chest holster underneath?

Hill People Gear Recon chest pack with the molle on the front and the Hill People Gear bino pouch attached.

I know this doesn't answer your question specifically but I use the Gunfighter chest holster and the FHF bino harness right over top of it. It's a great system... very sleek & secure & fits great together.
The main reason I like it is because you can remove the bino harness and still have the pistol at your finger tips.. especially useful when breaking down an animal in grizzly country.

I’ve been looking as well...I am hoping my Ruger SP101 will fit in the back pocket of the Rogers Bono harness I just got. It’s a strangely affordable harness for what it offers and how much it feels like great quality. I was about to get the Vortex Guide harness when I saw this on on the shelf next to it for a third of the price...
