I’ve tried a bunch and marsupial is what I’ve landed on. I like the function, it’s very well made, no overly bulky and the most comfortable I’ve tried. Stone glacier sentinel is good too, but for me the marsupial edges it out. I keep my release in the side stretch pocket, and the bungee and pocket design of the sentinel makes this kinda a pain in the ass. Very functional harness and comfortable, but for me it’s not as good. (Mines in the classifieds now). I do think the marsupial carries weight better, so if you have heavy glass, extra stuff and a pistol I found the sentinel would sag more.
Do you want the pistol attached/integrated with the bino harness, or on a separate harness system? Behind the bino harness or hanging underneath? If you go behind the harness, the wings of the sentinel can get in the way, and it limits what you can put on your draw side. Can’t have my pistol and rf on my strong side, and that’s a deal breaker. If you carry the gun below the harness the wings don’t obstruct it. Conversely, the marsupial attachment “drops” the side pouch a little below the main bino compartment, and I can use the guardian plate and get my pistol grip to clear everything on the right side.
I’d suggest deciding on how you want to carry your pistol and rangefinder or other accessories, and let that help guide your choice.
