I just did a deep dive on this topic and settled on a Marsupial kit. It's perfect for me for what I like to carry on-me all the time no matter what kind of hunting or practice. Once I decided what gear was important to carry the decision became easier. One simple solution and great protection for optics.
Marsupial for sure. They sit tight to your body...they don't put pressure on the neck like others. The enclosed ones keep dust off and binos clean. Perfect for me. And made in the USA. I like that too.
If you don’t mind magnets I think Marsupial is the nicest looking and is very well made. Their “no mag” versions are too bulky. For no magnets the Alaska guide creations are sweet. I’ve got a few of those.
Last year I bought full set ups of marsupial, Kifaru and Kuiu. Sent them all back and stuck with AGC.
Kifaru was by far the most disappointing. That thing just sucked all the way around.
The marsupial works pretty well. The strap they sent with the unit were way to short and not enough adjustment for me. I found out later that is a common problem. They make a longer strap. Was a pretty big hassle to get the right strap from Marsupial and pretty expensive. The standard strap also did not allow me to use the unit with heavy winter layers. Maybe they now offer a larger strap as a option? I am 6’4 and 220 lbs
My favorite for archery is still my Adak harness as far a light weight and quietness if something brushes against it. I'm trying Marsupial this year to see how it goes. I'm skeptical on magnets, but willing to try them again.
AGC is all I have ever used, they have worked well for me since the early 2000's before bino harnesses were cool. Jaret is also good friend and neighbor.
I love my marsupial bino harness. I do the upper buckle delete to get it to sit a little higher on my chest, and like that it doesn't move when I move. I can't stand it when the bino harness flops around.
