Bino harness attched to pack?

Anyone try and attach a bino harness to their back pack shoulder straps? Maybe with some buckles, would be nice to just attach and go when using your pack, scouting or hiking in. Could always keep the harness in the pack so you could swap it.

I tried this, attaching them to both the shoulder straps and the load lifter straps. Works really well until you have to take the pack off, for anything. I found it to be mildly annoying.

This topic comes up every so often and the feedback I have seen is that it is a better idea in theory than in practice.

Ive thought about rigging the pouch for my bino harness onto my hip belt. There was a time when I carried my pistol and binos on my chest with a HPG chest pack, and over time the weight pulled tension on my neck and wound up giving me a strain or a tension headache.

Since I switched to my pistol on my hip belt I havent toyed woth the idea, I would honestly prefer to have my pistol on my chest. Id prefer to have both on my chest, just not sure if going to a stand along holster like a Gunfighters Inc would distribute the weight better.

Anyone ever put Binos on their hip belt?
