Bino Case Setup

I just ordered the Badlands Bino Hub. Inside the case it has the 2 suspension cords with metal clips. Was thinking about just doing the normal metal O-rings on the binos, and attaching the clips to those. I'm wondering if those O-rings and metal clips will eventually start scratching/wearing on my optics, as they move and shift around while hiking/hunting. Don't really want to scratch up the armor coatings or glass.

For guys that use or have used this case, what did you do? Also need to consider convenience for taking them out and sticking them on a tripod.

Thanks

Horn hunter makes some things called bino keepers that are a rubber type material and seem super strong, but it wouldn't help for removing them for tripod use. They would save wear on your binoculars though. They're like $7 or something.

I'm not familiar with the setup you're describing, but I'm thinking you might be looking for either these:

Thanks Reeves. After stumbling around on Google I was able to find this OP-TECH place. They have quite a few little adapters for optics/photography equipment. Think I found some that will be much better than metal o-rings.
